Default Pictures of my Probe Ultra-Light Rods

All I'm waiting for right now is my Golden Eagle sleeved block to come back ...HOPEFULLY 2 weeks from today!

The Probe Ultra-Light Rods are 15% lighter then the Eagle rods that I had before. Too bad it's only available right now for the B18A/B and B20 cranks.

Pictures of my Probe Rods from Import Builders:

Hey, those look pretty good, however, what's the HP rating they are good up to??? I've only seen just a few things written up on these rods so I'm not too familiar with the specs so if you know them could you please post them thanks. Also, how much did they run you from IB? Thanks.

Later,

Sean C.

I'll tell you the exact weight from the shop when I get my rods back. My crank is being balanced. Jeff from Import Builders said they were approximetly 15% lighter. Heck, holding them in my hand I can tell. They are definetly lighter. They are quite sturdy peices.

As for how much power they can hold, I'm not really sure. I've seen them advertised in the Domestic magazines a lot but I'm guessing they just started their line up with the imports.

N/A Rod, not really.

Import Builders use the Probe rod in the 480 WHP @ 17 PSI 2.0 Liter VTEC Monster.

So it's definetly not just oriented towards N/A applications.

I WILL get a Dyno of this setup in about 4 weeks VS. my old setup at the same boost setting and we'll see how much more power it makes.
