Icon3 BWR Subframe Brace/ASR Sway Issue!

I have scowered the net to find a DIY on the web for the BWR brace for 88-91 I have only found a DIY on the ASR Subframe kit, nothing on the BWR. Well I just did the work to mount the bar drilled the holes in my spare tire well and then when I figured id be able to mount my sway bar, I mounted one fine then the other sits about 1/4''-1/2 in past the pre-existing holes in the bracket on the other side. Iv tried everything, not sure if anybody knows what the deal with the issue is but if I dont find out looks like Ill just have to drill new holes in the brackets and just bolt it in like that instead, its really bugging me that the pre-existing holes from the factory dont work like they should though.

You can simplify your life by taking the subframe brace and selling it on ebay.
Unlike the 5th gen, the 4th gen subframe is perfectly adequate.
It's not a speculation or an opinion.
That brace was a product for the 5th gen with it's weaker subframe.
4th gen part was created to steal your moneys

No the 88-91 BWR subframe kit not ASR, and mounting the ASR sway bar to it.

They probably won't fit.
The point is that you do not need one and no performance gain is made with one on your car.
If you owned a 5th gen (92~95) you would have gains as the subframe is much weaker.

Wow, thats interesting, the asr hollow bar doesnt
even use the original subframe mount location!

DO WANT!!

Edit: Oh wait, thats for EF application in the pic right? The DC prob uses the original location.

STILL WANT!!!
