My 2002 Honda Accord's fob will open the trunk and lock the doors but will not unlock the doors. It tries to (you can hear it click) but the doors don't unlock. Any one have any idea whats going on?

 

not sure if this helps. try opening the fob and see if the board is damaged. you can also try a different fob and battery.

 

I just bought two new fobs to try out and ran into the same problem. I did learn however that if I use the key to unlock one door I can use the fob and it will unlock all the rest of the doors. It does not seem to matter which door I unlock as long as I unlock one door.

 

Wrong kind of FOB, I have no advice.

 

I would agree except the original FOB does the same thing as the the ones I just bought. Thank you for at least taking a look and trying!
