Icon2 91 Wagon playing DEAD!!

I have a 91 accord wagon and it will not crank or try to start, however, battery and all display lights appear to be fine. It started early this morning I turned the key to crank the car and nothing happend. Did it immediately after and it started fine. Later in the day I got to a gas station and tried to restart and it wouldn't do so until 20 minutes later or so. I am so confused...

It also wouldn't take a jump. Tested batter few weeks ago and they said it was good. Just got an Alternator a month ago.

Please help!!?

Im thinking that. But would it not make any clicking noises at all if so? And would it also work sometimes and sometimes not if it has gone bad?

If the starter is going bad the starter solenoid will make a clicking noise. If the starter solenoid is going bad it won't make a clicking noise. Sometimes the solenoid begins to get stuck and hitting it can help jar it loose.

Befor you go any futher you must check for power at the signel wire at the starter in crank pos. (the smaller wire on the starter) and the big wire at the starter to the battery is it tight and in good repair Also is the grnd wire in good repair
