'90 CRX DX w/5sp. The clutch would engage when the pedal was just coming off the floor. This came on gradually over about 3k miles. I made sure the cable was adjusted right. Thinking the clutch was worn out (I put 60k on it myself) I took out the trans to replace the clutch. The clutch was in nearly new condition so I put it all back together with a new cable (the old one would make a loud noise when I pushed the pedal). Now the clutch barely releases at all. Going by a couple of posts I found, I took the trans back out to check the clutch return spring. It isn't broken and it isn't binding. What next?
