G/f car tires currently are bad, and figured i'd buy her wheels while im at it.

They are 185/65r14 currently


I found some on JC Whitney for $60 each plus free shipping... But they are 14x5.5" wide...

Calculating 185 makes the current tires 7.3"

Will these fit? I need new tires too, down side of going not so wide? How to tell...

A 185 should be fine on those - not sure what the stock steel wheel width is on Hondas, but the EK comes with a 185/65-14. FWIW, the early Miata wheels are 5.5", and are factory spec'd at 185/60-14. I ran those for years on mine with no problems.

The tall sidewall isn't the prettiest look, but should get you through just fine.
