JDM Prelude H22 Type S Camshafts or Aftermarket cams?
what i've learnt after quite some search is that the JDM H22 Type-S/F20B DOHC VTec (Manual) Cams are:
Lift: Int.12.1/Exh.11.2
Adv Duration @.004: 306°/310°
Duration @ 0.050: 230°/230°
... and somewhere, they are said to be .469"/.438" , 306°/310°, 230°/230° i.e. 11.91/11.12, any accurate info on this? as well as primary lift, vtec lift and secondary lift info ???

Aftermarket... I have done a few blue top H23V builds and decided to one up it with Euro R/Type S/ F20B MT cams and the gain was minimal for the effort. So I would say pro 1's depending on what your doing?
F23 DOHC VTec is what i'm up to! I'd be using my JDM F20B DOHC VTec (manual version) head instead of the typically used h22 head. Reason for this is that this version of f20b is logically a h20 type-s in fact, though with 1mm smaller valves (which i'd upgrade), but with type-s cams (as above), ported head, dual valve retainer springs and a build that sustains 8200-to-8600rpm, easily, daily!
Besides the valves, well, i don't find any reason for not using the f20b dohc vtec head when i do have it with me already. do add to my info if it could be restrictive.
i'm putting BMCRACE intake manifold, skunk2 70mm throttle body, kaizen speed BSE, fidanza 8lbs flywheel, 12.7cr, 86mm forged piston (f23 block), skunk2 adjustable cam gears, these type-s cams for now (skunk2 pro2/3 for later, right?), a mFactory final drive (5.15fd, into my t2w4), msd blaster ss coil, msd ignition, ngk 8.5mm ignition wires, +1 heat range hks laser+platinum spark plugs etc to name a few. shall tune in on hondata s300, with p72 (it has knock sensor o/put too).
your inputs shall be highly valuable :-)

With that much compression you could go Pro2 or Pro3 with the S2 cams and gain WAY more than Type S.
for now, i really intend to know the exact specifications of these h22 type-s/f20b dohc vtec camshafts. OR, any idea as to how should i carry own measuring myself?
with bisimoto aluminum full race rods, 285gms pistons, arp rod bolts, arp head studs... i do see a couple of hundreds more rpm ;-)
