Default Lug Nuts Stuck

I just took my car to the dealer to have a problem checked out and am now trying to rotate the tires and all the lugs are on so tight I can't get them off. Assuming they used a torque to put the lugs back on which is irritating none the less but my question is; What can I do to get these off other than taking my car somewhere?

Do you have access to a breaker bar?

I could purchase one if I thought I would get more than this one use out of it. Of course it may be worth it since the alternative would be paying for a rotation.

I use my breaker bar a ton, but that may be just me.

As for your situation, do you have a piece of pipe that can fit over your 19mm lug wrench?

Yea I just slipped that over and used it for leverage. thanks for the idea worked great. And I will consider the breaker bar since I am starting to do more of my own work now that I have a house not an apartment. Thanks again.

Take it back to the dealer, and make them remove the lugs, then hand-torque them to the proper limit (like they should have in the first place). Some guy with the gun just air-ratched them down tight. You're lucky your brakes aren't warping from that much over-torquing.

The same thing happened to me at a tire shop about 15 years ago, and I made them pay to replace the wheel lock they broke trying to get them off.
