Which Crank Pulley for DRAG Racing?

Default Which Crank Pulley for DRAG Racing?

I know that there are lot of threads on this, but in order to be sure, could you answer me please?

I've read that some people got problem with OEM Crank Pulley and Oil pump too.

Which Crank Pulley for DRAG Racing? like the ATI super damper (918471).
Can i Use the OEM Alternator Belt ?

Otherwise
Which Crank Pulley for Street with A/C and power steering?

Using ati here with oem oil pump

Btw yes when i have mine installed, oem alt belt was used.

Are you planning to use ac and ps?

Most of the guys here are using the street version.

Be aware that the race version is only rated at 300hp.

Not for DRAG racing. I actually had the PS, Do I need to change the Steering rack?

Yes the part no. I posted is for their street version with ac and ps pulley.

If you decide to go all out and ditch the ac and ps, you can unbolt one part of the damper.

I plan 600+ with my T6766.
Why does the race version rated at 300HP?

Thank you for the part number.
I've read that "The damper includes a removable serpentine style power steering pulley" that mean you can remove or not the Power Stearing?

Some of the guys here are going as much as 1000hp with them.

Im on 800-900 whp with mine.

Regarding the race version, i dunno why.

Before when it was still a street car, i have ps installed.

I removed the ps afterwards when the project snowballed to a track car.

I did change my steering rack to "manual", but as far as i know you may just cap off the ps ports in the rack.

That's what I want to do for the Damper.
Regarding the steering rack, some people told me like you and just need to capp off the PS ports any others feedbacks?

And you why did you changed your Steering Rack?

Yep james will take care of you for sure.

I changed my rack cause i completely sold my ps system since i wont be needing it anymore.

ati street it doesnt underdrive the alternator so bad as the race.
