Yes you read correctly. Today I changed out my Mint ITR seats for a set of beat to **** Delsol red stripe seats.


Why you ask?

Well bc I ordered a set of Recaros from an importer and they aren't here yet, and my oem seats a co worker paid for in full so I decided to give them to him and not make him wait another week.

But while the seats were out I did manage to clean the ever living **** out of my carpet and rear seats so thats a good thing.

Im also going to re tint the back windshield dark as **** to prevent fading on the tops of the rear seats.

It took me for ever to find a set of nice ones. I ended up calling an importer in canada and he put together a mint set for me. for 900 shipped.

 

I'm in the same boat as well except i got nothing in there now lol I'm waiting to find a set of recaro rails for my recaros

When I bought my ITR it came with LS seats sadly, but I swapped them out for SPOON reclinables.
Still looking for a passenger rail though if anyone is willing to part. I think recaro rails fit on them.

 

Yeah I had a set of those a few years back in a Rhd Coupe thats floating around here some where. This is a DD so im trying to keep it semi stock (ish)

These seats suck. They are like a half inch off the ground. I cant wait for my recaros to come in.

Recaros are pretty high. I loved mine because i'm only 5'7. Just hate getting in and out of them.

 

yeah they are in terrible shape. but they work seeing i only drive 2 miles to work every day.. and will only be in my car for about a week tops.

flame on. lol.

 

yeah, im 5 10 so im not short but im not tall either. but these make me feel like im sitting on the damn floor.

Yeah, I have decided these are the worst seats honda have ever made. I'm very much waiting on my Recaros.

 

Del Sol seats are one of the most comfortable factory Honda seat made! IMO they look goofy but when you sit in them it's like holy **** why do people nut swing off S2000 seats?

 

To each his own... They are a terrible seat in my opinion.

Agreed. They're not much to look at but for tall people (me) they rock. Good support and plenty of headroom.

Now that thats out of the way.

I must say, after driving for a few days they arn't that bad. They still suck but I guess they arn't terrible. lol.

They sit way to low for me. Im 5'11'' and I had to re adjust my rear view mirror.

 

Not "one of the", just "THE".

If I had a pair of del Sol seats, I'd definitely swap them in.

 

i still think they blow lol.

 

So the Integra Recaros sit alot higher than the stocks? I'm 6'3 and my head is like a half inch from the headliner as of right now and I've been wanting the Recaros :/

 

Thats a really good question and a factor in my decision to ultimately buy a set of recaros or not. Just how do they sit compared to stock and how they compare to the del sols in height as well? Ive had del sols in 2 of my cars and i love them. I like that they sit lower then stock because you feel like you have more room in the car and feels sportier. I used to always sit with the back portion leaning back more to be comfortable with the stock seats that feel like child booster seats lol. With del sols i sit fairly upright.

Those are some minty fresh looking seats for 900 shipped. Hope i can get a deal like that when it comes around.

 

The recaros sit the same height as all other normal civic and integra seats it's just the del sol seats sit super low. Alot lower then the recaros
