Default B series ramhorn.. Wanna see you turbo inlet setup

I have a ramhorn mani,
I don't wanna use just a screen and I'm putting the air inlet of the turbo facing driver side.

Please post pics of how yours is setup

Mine is in the same spot if you are driving in water deep enough to reach that filter you have bigger things to worry about.

the bumper goes back on lol. i also have my license plate on that side. besides u cant boost in the rain anyway. ive checked the filter after a long drive in the rain and it stays bone dry.

if u have my manifold i recommend reinforcing the the wastegate flange immediately. it will break.

i do now lol i will be changing to a go auto miniram soon though. i just welded some support to the wastegate flange cuz mine snapped right off.

basically where u see the brace on the wastegate flange from the top view i cut 2 pieces of metal and extended that brace down both sides of the wastegate falnge and welded everything together solid.

Yea I'm gunna be putting a brace on any pics of people's manifold brace?
And do I need a wastegate brace, I have a peakboost mani so it should be strong

the wastegate is the weak spot thats the only place u really need to brace unless u are like trying to hold up your hole exhaust by the manifold or something.

Tne wastegate is where it usually cracks I believe its due to the weight of the gate hanging off that small pipe and the vibrations of the motor not to mention the dumptube adding to that.Just have a small brace welded inbetween the wastegate elbow and the collector and that should do the trick.

mine came with 2 and it still broke, my car is lowered 2 inches, its not a problem man like i said u cant boost in the rain anyway. stay out of the creek and you'll be fine.

yup your fine, like i said try not to go offroading and keep it out of the lakes and rivers lol my buddy has been running his with out filter for years right there on an eg and its fine. i dont recommend it but space is limited on an h22 eg.
