Default engine questions.......

first off guys i am a complete noob to the import world, i have a 06 mustang and just recently bought my first honda and already looking to make a huge mod.....

i want to swap the motor but got a few questions.

1. which one provides the most torque (before and after a motor build)?
2. i want something that can rev to 8 or 9 k.
3. id like a direct bolt in to my 93 del sol.... if i have to swap to odb 2 then i would consider only if the gains where gonna be worth it.
4. i will add a turbo later down the road and want to make a 11 to 12 sec car and will add nitrous for track days to make a 10 sec car.

having said all this what will best suit the car? any and all advise is great. thaks to everyone.

j series v6 swap will make the most torque that i know of. get a j37 with a j31 head and a cl type s trans that thing will float on stock ecu

also 9k? why? most cars that produce torque have low rpm. the j series has best of both worlds. top end and torque

yes it will work fwd or rwd. you might have to cut the hood a bit.

but people put down 250whp+ and 275ftlbs+ on a stock j series with bolt ons. i think the j37 would make more torque too

you can choose from j30, j32, j35,j37

cheap setup would be j35 bottom end with j32 head. its cheaper than a k swap and makes more power than a bolt on and tuned k20/k24

No if I did a v8 it would be rwd for sure, I can not find a j series fire sell anywhere. What all minus ecu, harness and motor and Trans would I need for the swap? Any idea?
