I'm currently in the process of building a high compression all-motor k20. Right now I am trying to pick up some bearings but unsure which ones would be best for high compression. I was thinking about ACL Duraglide or ACL Race but same time I heard OEM have more all around options. If I could get some expert input that be great thanks!

 

what compression are you looking at doing?

Also what rods and pistons are you thinking about?

 

I have Mahle 12:5 pistons with stock rods I might consider to get some better rods but i don't hear much about rods being damaged in high compression. The head will have s2 high compression flat valves, s2 dual springs and retainers, s2 stage 2 cams.
