Engine VIN
There should be a 4-5 digit engine code found on a flat spot on the side of the engine block (front of car). close to the transmission.
You will probably see one of the following;
C27A*
C32A*
C35A*
J30A*
J35A*
* = 1-2-3-etc.... if there is no 5th digit it is an engine that has been imported from Japan.
V6 into a I4 chassis is quite a bit of work.......

The CD chassis cars with a V6 actually had a longer nose to accommodate the C27 90* V6. It was that much bigger.
Never mind.....I found it!! 2.7L V6......
Since the car is with family, I will have someone cross check the title with the VIN on the car. I suspect I have the wrong title. I have looked around that engine....it looks like the factory install.

What are the 4th 5th and 6th digits of the VIN tag that is riveted to the dash? (visable from the outside on the drivers side) These digits will tell you what engine should be in the chassis.
CE6 = C27A4 V6
CD5 = F22B1 - F22B2 Sedan
CD7 = F22B1 - F22B2 Coupe
