Hey I have a 92 civix vx I put an lsv in and I want to put cams in. I have the following mods 12.3:1 compression ratio, skunk2 pro series intake mani, hondata intake mani gasket, professinal products tb, itr header, skunk2 springs and retainers, cf wale dong intake, and rc 310 cc injectors. The head has a 5 angle valve job and is port matched throttle body to intake mani, intake mani to head. I currently have stock gsr cams in the motor I made 172hp on the dyno. When I had skunk2 tuner2 cams in I made 183hp. I bought some 63403 crower stage 3 cams and wanted to know what kind of power other people have made with these cams, or if I should go with a different set of cams? Looking for a pointer or two.. My goal was to break 200hp. Please help

I would contact legit camshaft companies like skunk2, tell them what youve got amd see what they recomend

 

Im just looking for some figures before I tear down my motor again to put in cams. Everywhere I go they tell me to just put them in and tune it to see

 

your header is holding you back. your intake isn't helping either.

 

Header is just there for looks its bolted to a full ss greddy exhaust the intake is just for show I have abunch of others laying around. The question was more or less about the cams

 

aftermarket cams ftw. or itr. i think if you just swap in one itr/ctr cam with one gsr cam is pretty good too. i dont know which one off the top of mt head in/ex

I would say pro 1s and get a new header. look for the big tube in the marketplace.

 

yea people run ctr intake cam with gsr exhaust cam for a daily driver. i want to try it out on my jrsc setup. i might go skunk 2 stage 1 cams not sure yet. still searching

 

Everyone I have talked to says go with skunk2 pro 1's and run a 3" intake tube.. Has anyone wver used ceower stage 3 cams in their lsv gsr or b16?
