Default CD6 tranny swap

Hi guys,

Due to the failure of the automatic tranny, I would like to put a manual gearbox on my jdm CD6. I got everything except the ECU. Does anybody know the way to swap the tranny without replacing the ECU?

It is difficult to got a jdm OBD-1 CD6 MT ECU from the market. The only choice I got is P13 ECU from BB prelude but re-wiring is necessary.

Any ideas from guys...

Thanks a lot.

CD6 is the SIR right? I just did a manual swap on my CE1 wagon and the OBD1 f22's had a seperate transmission control unit seperate from the ECU. I reused my auto ECU and unplugged the TCU. It runs fine with no CEL. It would be worth checking if its the same for the h22.

as far as I know you can run the H22 5spd with an automatic ECU. Same as AccidentproWn posted.
