I have done plenty of swaps and engine replacements, but always a 5 speed!!

My question is what will be different about doing a 97 civic replacement on an AUTO this time compared to just a manual? everything would be swapper over to the new donor motor.!

I know when I put a 5speed into a auto car I had to get a diffrent tranny mount

 

If im not mistaken the ecu has to be replaced too for the auto trans ive never done one but when i swapped auto to man i had to get a manual ecu but ive always swapped to b series motors so the ecu needed to be replaced anyways

 

Also you should get a auto engine wiring harness

 

If it's a Y7 nothing, if it's a Y8 the IM and throttlebody are different.
