Does anyone in the I.E have the AAA roadside assistance that they can spare?

I need to get a car towed to the LA area. I am a premier AAA member but only have a 200 mile tow left in my policy and i have to tow it 240 miles. My 200 miles will get me as far as the inland empire. I could tow the car to any address of your preference and you can call your tow truck from there. If someone has an extra tow service that they think they wont be using the please lmk and we can go from there. I dont mind paying something reasonable. Thank You!

I am a PREMIER AAA member. Since my policy was about to expire next month I DECIDED TO DO A GOOD DEED AND AT THE SAME TIME NOT LET THE TOWS GO TO WASTE, SO I TRIED TO HELP THOSE IN NEED. I PULLED OVER TWICE IN THE 710 AND 5 FREEWAY AND GAVE AWAY TWO OF MY TOWING SERVICES FOR FREE... WHY NOT??.... I HAD NO USE FOR THEM AND THEY ARE ABOUT TO EXPIRE.

BUT I GUESS THAT MUST BE REAL HARD FOR YOU **** TALKERS THAT HAVE NEVER BEEN STRANDED IN THE FREEWAY TO UNDERSTAND THE FEELING OF BEING HELPLESS IN A HAZARDOUS ENVIRONMENT. NOT ONLY THAT BUT, HOW THE PEOPLE MUST FEEL TO THINK WHAT THEY ARE NOW GOING TO DO ABOUT THERE VEHICLE THAT THEY USE TO GO TO WORK AND WHAT NOT... WHY NOT MAKE THERE LIFE JUST A LIL EASIER AND HELP THEM OUT JUST A LIL BIT? IT DIDN'T COST ME ANYTHING.. BUT A LIL TIME.... THAT'S IT.

AND I'M NOT GOING TO LIE, IT FELT REALLY GOOD TO HELP THE PEOPLE WITHOUT THEM ASKING ME TO.... THIS IS WHY THIS SOCIETY IS SO SCREWED UP... ITS SO HARD FOR PEOPLE TO HELP EACH OTHER OUT..... DON'T GET ME WRONG I HAVE PERSONALLY MET SOME REALLY COOL PEOPLE FROM THE MARKETPLACE THAT HAVE HELP ME OUT AS-WELL, BUT AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THIS THREAD THERE IS ALOT OF RETARDED SELFISH PEOPLE.

I think he just doesnt want to pay the $500-$600 that it would cost to tow that far and would gladly pay half of that if he could use someones triple a. Just an inference on my part im not sure, but in that case both parties win. I pay $73 a year for 4 tows of up to 100 miles each so i would gladly do it for $250. The only thing is that the cardholder(which in this case is me) has to be with the car with card in hand when the tow driver initially shows up.

 

I could tow it that direction for under 200. . Its crazy how people lowball tow truck services because there is so many people on craigslist with just a pick up and trailer bed. Doing work for dirt cheap because they dont pay $$$$ to the dmv and state for vehicle license.

I have a truck and trailer fill my tank which is $100-130. Lmk

 

new members have to wait a year until they are eligible for the 100 mile tow package, Ive had triple A since 2000 so I got lucky

 

you do know that AAA only offers a 10 mile tow and a free hookup right?

it ran me $200 to tow my car from riverside to temecula and yes i have AAA

 

unless you have been a long time member and have the 4 tows of up to 100 miles package

but yeah the new members can only get the 10mile ones, what a waste, that is basically good enough to get you off the freeway when you break down

 

This guy is so cheap that he will pay dollar for used parts and now he what free towing too man .......get your own AAA

I agree. Then u got people coming in offering to do it for a tank of gas or $100 cuz they dont value their own time enough, its just sad.

 

when i had my shell towed to the house, we just rented some uhaul trailer, ran us like 140 i think? or 160? my pops had a truck tho
