94' LS Turbo it or super charge it?
Trending Topics
both will cost about the same if you just run low boost. I was almost set on buying a jrsc till I realized the costs were almost the same, taking into account how both will have similar fuel management stuff, gauges, need for new clutch (for me anyways) etc... but the turbo gains were much sweeter.
I have a 97 ls with a JRSC in it right now and I guess i'm a little impressed with it but not totally happy.I've had it on my car for 4 months and already starting to build a turbokit along with the B20.I would say definitely go turbo.I'll have the JRSC,10lb boost pulley,JRSC timing controllerand the matching JRSC boost gaugeand air flow gauge (both white face)for sale in a few weeks in case anybody is interested.1500$

Hey dlplayboy - Have you ran your car at the track yet (1/4 mile)? If so, what kind of times are you getting? Also, is your motor stock or built? How long have you had it and any major problems?
Sorry for all the questions.
Just want to get some feedback from people with turbo'd b18b1's since I'll most likely be doing the same after this winter.
Thanks

1) try forced induction forum
2) what are your goals
3) boost is boost
If you don't plan on building the motor. JRSC will be wonderful for daily driving and autoX, even road racing. Instant throttle response, similar to stock torque curve.
If you anticpate boosting higher, you'll want to build the motor, mainly drag racing, a turbo may suite you better.
As always, proper tuning and mainteinence is key.
