Default unsprung clutch question

i found an ACT pressure plate and ACT unsprung clutch in my garage that was left there by my old roommate 10 years ago and he never claimed it, so since i just rebuilt a GSR motor and was needing a clutch and pressure i plate i was planning on using them. He had a 98 JDM gsr motor and i have a 95 USDM GSR so i figure it wont make a difference right?

I was told that unsprung clutches are harder to press down on, and since it seems slightly used, i figured my roommate didnt like how much harder it was to press down on, so my question is how much harder is it to press the clutch down, if infact thats what an unsrpung clutch does and is that the only difference between clutches with springs in them? basically what are the cons and pros?? im using this as a DD, thanks for looking

it will fit your car, un-sprung has nothing to do with how hard it is the pressure plate is what makes it harder to push etc. un-sprung is more for a drag setup than a street setup. the clutch will chatter and be more of a harsh engaging and disengaging.
