Default Tranny problems/ d15b2

Just bought an ef sedan last week. i was gettin off the freeway and made a huge mistake of shifting from 5th to 2nd. (i know, it was stupid, talk all the **** you want) but it still ran and drove fine. i quickly threw it out of gear when it happened. but would this cause me to lose reverse? it doesnt go in at all. not a grind or even a pop in. just wont engage. and also i am stuck in 2nd gear. would this have something to do with my clutch, tranny or throwout bearing?

sounds like broken 1-2 shift fork - they are cast aluminum - they don't bend, they just break
