Icon3 LS EK - auto power..?

So I just dropped a B18B1 and since I had it set to OBD2, I just used my ek's D16Y7 engine harness since its all OBD2. I plugged up all the harness plugs and used an OBD1 dizzy with a jumper harness for the connectors for my OND2 harness. We plug in the battery and my radiator fan kicks in as well as the car acting like there's a key in and it's set to power on utilities like when you twist the key in the ignition to have all electronics have power. Anyone know what's going on? I've heard from Tina of people I can use the harness my car came with but this is just weird. Oh also for ACU I'm using a Hondata S200 that I thought might be the possible reason but I tried the stock one and the problem occurred too.

Default Re: LS EK - auto power..?

do they come on after you have run the engine to operating temp? ls engines had two coolant temp sensors. One switch that allowed the fans to run while KOER and the other for when the vehicle is completely shut down. It required a second module(correct me if im wrong). The coolant temp sensor on the side of the head under the dizzy is for the cooling fan switch for ecu fan control and the other, on the back of the block by oil pressure sending unit, is used to allow the fans to kick on and off after the vehicles been shut off.
