Default Showing off my new Civic

I had a great silver 97 Civic EX sedan manual and was actually on my way to get it tinted when I got rear-ended by a pickup truck while I was at a stop. The damage didn’t look that bad but it bent the driver’s side frame rail and totaled the car.

The car was still drivable so I hung onto the car until I found a replacement for it, a blue 2000 EX sedan manual. The new one actually already had tint on the windows. It was all stock except for an Injen air intake. I was able to get a great deal on it because the previous owner didn’t know if the timing belt and water pump had ever been done. I paid $3500 for it. It had nice rims on it which I really liked but decided to sell because I knew they would most likely get stolen in my neighborhood.

I sold them for $450. I had replaced the transmission on the 97 with a rebuilt one from Synchrotech due to a failing input shaft bearing. I didn’t want to give the insurance company a new transmission so I put them both up on jack stands in my back yard and swapped the transmissions. I then changed the timing belt, water pump, and thermostat and changed all the fluids myself, (coolant, oil, brake, clutch, transmission). The previous owner did have receipts showing the spark plugs, wires, and belts had all been replaced within the past month. I resurfaced the cloudy headlights using the 3M headlight restoration kit.
About a month after I bought the car I got sideswiped by a minivan that it was a good idea to turn left from the middle of three straight lanes... right into the side of my car. Luckily it wasn't totaled this time.

I had some spare money left after selling the rims so I decided to add the cabin air filter and factory fog lights. I installed Osram Nightbreaker bulbs in both the headlights and foglights. I also switched a couple wires in the harness so that the foglights come on with the running lights and flash when I lock or unlock the car.
Here are pics of my car after everything was done.

Here are pics of the headlights and foglights in action.
Foglights only.

Headlights and foglights.

Well, thats my new baby. I hope you enjoy.

Looks like your headlights need to be adjusted. Either that, or I've been looking at WAY too many HID retrofit beam patterns.

Sedans can be great fun, and no one expects them to haul ***. Try to keep this one away from trucks though.
