B20 Motor into a 94 integra LS
Hey,
We've just finished installing a B20 Motor into my Teg and was wondering if I can put a CRV 5sp ECU into the vehicle? and if I can use the RPM gauge from a CRV and put it into the LS Cluster? Oh yeah, I'm also running a Drag Gen III Turbo on the vehicle. Please let me know, much help is appreciated!

I was checking up on the junk yards from http://www.car-parts.com, and they do have some 5speeds.
Why would you put an OBD2-3(97-01 CRV) ecu with a 6200rpm rev limit, when you have an OBD1(94 LS) ecu with 6800rpm already in the car? Why would you want the RPM gauge from a CRV? Whats wrong with the LS one? I don't know where you get your info but you need a new source.
CRV and LS heads are the same. All bseries engines use the same size fuel injectors, but different pressures. The 94-95 OBD1 LS ecu is hands down the best plug and play ecu for the B20.
Use the ECU from your teg, get an adjustible fuel pressure req and bump the pressure.

Hey,
Thanks for the reply, it's just that I heard this from one of my guy at Skunk2. Running a B20 Turbo, 10lbs boost, and daily driven. I'm definately going to look through this more. I appreciate your help!
Thanks,
Jay

welp for one...do you have a b20b or b20z....you'll need to know this b/c the ecu for the crv is different for each, b20b has 6200 rev limit...b20z has a 6800 rev limit. as far as the rpm gauge...its a whole cluster, you cant take out the rpm gauge and put it in your integra...and i dont know why you would...unless u wanted the amber lights, which u can get from the type r cluster...im running an obd1 ls ecu on my b20 and it works just fine...i think that the ls ecu will be better than the CRV one mainly because for the b20 "leaner is meaner"
