Default Itb and boost?

I'm building a d series and was wondering of anyone has ran itb and boost? And if it has any benefits other than looking cool. I searched and searched I. Here and couldn't find anything? Anyone got a build tread or know how big of a pain on the *** is going to be?

NO NEGATIVE POSTS.

You say no negative posts, but there really isn't anything positive to say about it.

It's going to be expensive, time consuming, require a fair bit of custom fabrication, and for no discernible gains.

Will it look cool? Yep. Will it be a cool conversation piece? Yep. Is it really worth doing from a power persepective? Nope.

RB26DETT's came with ITB's from the factory and people couldn't get rid of them fast enough with aftermarket manifolds.

Agreed. Not sure how you're going to pull this off. You would have to split the charged piping to each throttle body, tune them individually, and basically make your own intake manifold is what'd end up happening. Possible, but... welp, good luck!

The route that most people seem to take with boosted ITB's is creating a plenum box around all four runners and route the boost into that.

OP, I believe "Tony the tiger" had an Integra with ITBs and a gt2871r a few years ago. If u search on YouTube, I believe his video is on there. He built a plenum with ITBs(more logical than whoever stated you'd have to route the charge pipes individually to each runner) Seems like overall drivability is better than with a standard manifold, but pretty much the time and effort it will take to make everything run well outweighs the gains you'll actually receive. BUT, just because people DON'T do it, doesn't mean you can't! There's nothing wrong with experimenting. GL and hopefully this helped.

Yep.

But again why. It is a was of time and money to do ITB on a boosted setup. You will see no worth while gains from it compared to the many good manifolds on the market.
