Default ls swap - white smoke

Just to get some opinions my ls swap is smoking a lot of white smoke, the engine was upside down on my engine stand for a bit before it went in, and I'm just wondering do you guys think it's the head gasket? I pulled the plugs and they look normal, there is some oil on the piston. I know I have some leaky valve seals though. I also got a lot of chemical degreaser on my exhaust ports. The inside of my header is rusty too so I know some of that is burning too.

Side note my idle is shitty but I have no vac hose on my map sensor and I have no tps. Cleaned my iacv while it was out. Are those two things causing my idle to be at 2000?

Jesus christ dude, what the ****.

First off: Oil on the pistons is BAD.

Leaky valve seals are BAD.

Your map sensors needs a vac hose to it, and how dont you have a tps or iacv? Thats whats causing your high retarded idle time bro.

First off, bro, click the sig, you act like I have the cash around to get new valve seals or a head. I make the best of what I have and will get around to it soon, I just simply wanted to know if valve seals leaking would cause it to smoke like that.

Still have no vac hose to my map and it runs and pulls strong, i dont have a tps and haven't had one on about three different cars and never could tell the difference. I do have a IACV turns out I had the car low on coolant, but never really ran it much either. My idle settled down perfect at 800.

Long story short, I DD it now it smokes some when I get on it, but have no hesistation or loss of MPG thats noticable and my idles perfect.

I would have posted this straight to the build thread. Then people would have background and the correct context to answer your question.
