Miller's 14 lb Kevlar/Carbon front end for 2012 season... Pics inside... ; )
We had this front end custom made for the Digital Camo car. The front bumper is 9 lbs and the fenders are about 2.2 lbs each. It's Kevlar and carbon fiber. This is not Seibon show car BS. This was made by a company that makes carbon parts for Lemans cars. This kit was made to an exact rigidity spec and we're looking forward to running it this year. It has a decent amount of flex as well, making it very strong.

This shows the kit on the scales. The fenders are balancing on the front bumper.

Nice! Tell that company they should start to mass produce front ends for the race world of Honda Acura etc....
Sorry guys, we arent in the business of making and selling front ends. Since we had to make a mold for ours we offer this style and this style only at this time. We are just showing what is out there and available with the right resources. We are going to be having a hood done soon along with a few other small items. No more junk carbon hoods weighing 25lbs! Our hood will be between 5 and 6 lbs with honeycomb to keep the structural integrity of the hood.
I work for a large aircraft company, and I am in the composite side of things...this is ALOT like what many of the aircraft parts on a jet are made of today....the honeycomb gives it a stability and also allows to make things very light weight! very cool!
Looks good. I'm surprised that more companies don't use a foam core on their composite pieces...then again most people can't afford to have it done correctly.
No this is still on the floor in the store. I had a mold made off of what i ran at world cup last year. All the fiberglass modifications started to add up and it was just out of hand heavy.
Can't view the picture here at work.
I hope you left out the missing piece you had in front of the left front tire.
Good Luck
