Default High Speed Chase in a Honda Insight

I have a pretty shitty comute to work and thursday and friday always suck. My legs are a little sore from jogging so I decided to take our Insight home lastnight since it`s a little more comfy. Anways, I`m travelling down the 405 S and traffic comes to a stop. I look over my shoulder just to see some punk kid rear end me in a huge S Class Mercedes. We start to move across the freeway to pull over and I get their 1st. I wait for a few seconds and I don`t see the ****** anywhere. He`s running! I floor the Insight, yes, Honda Insight, and after a few minutes of weaving in and out of traffic I catch his ***. I get next to him and tell him to "pull your ________ over you ______ ______" and he waves as if to say "ok". We start to pull over again and he tries to take off. I follow him weaving in and out of traffic and then he exits the freeway on beach blvd. I get stuck behind another car at a light and he just runs the red and keeps going. I finally get around the car and come to an intersection where could have went left, right or straight. I drive around the are for a while, but he`s gone.

The benz was brand new, no plates, but he did have a custom plate frame that was in arabic (i think) and the vehicle was purschased locally. If he travels that freeway everyday like I do, it`s just a matter of time before I see him again. If I do he`d f`ing doomed!

Funny thing is, any other day I would have been in an sc`d s2000 and there is no way in hell he would have gotten away

that sux, oh well i guess u r luckier having the damage on the insight rather than the s2000. I saw a s2000 at the body shop near my house it had been hit in the pass fender when i saw it, a tear started to form in my eye. THis is the main reason i have a cell phone, i had someone sideswipe me in my accord, and just keep going, if my cell phone would have been on me I would have called the cops and cuaght his ***.

I was chasing while on the phone w. CHP. He had no plates and there wasn`t an officer in the area at the time.

Inight only has a few scratches, I`m quite surprised. He hit me pretty hard.

Urethane bumpers usually bounce back rather well, doing a good job of hiding sometimes major damage beneath it.

Dude you will find him sooner or later, even in the biggest town... hell, it could be months from now... just remember what he did to you, and just scare the living **** out of him... but don't do anything that is going to get yourself into big trouble... if anything, follow him home and then wait till that night and trash his car and yard... use red lipstick on his windshield with the words "Don't Run From Me..."

I thought about that, but he was a good 30 miles from the dealership where the car was purchased.

A lot of times the technicians will be trying to bang out as many PDIs as possible and just give the car to the runners to test drive.....you never know man..

I'm not too surprised. My mom owns an insight and a guy in an acura pulled out infront of her and she hit his rear tire head on.

The insight had a couple of scratches on it, but the acura didn't fare so well.

Broken axle.
