What Model Accord Do I Have?
I bought a 1999 Accord Sedan this week with 136,000 miles and I'm loving it. I am not so sure what model sedan I have. It has the 3.0 engine, AC, power windows/drivers seat, cruise, cloth seats ABS brakes. Does not have the moon roof. It does have the Honda hubcaps.
Geico shows that it is a DX but the DX info that I can find online does not have a 3.0 engine. I think it may be the LX. The car does not have anything showing this, only the Accord badge on the rear.
Thanks for any answers!

Place the vin in the VIN tab at majestic Honda to look up parts...

You may want to verify that the VIN on the dash and the VIN on the firewall, door, etc are the same. With insurance if you get into an accident and the car is not what it really is they may not cover you. If Smokey pulls you over and notices a discrepancy with the VIN they may impound the car.
AFAIK the DX model range never had a V6 as an option, you could get it in the LX or EX but not DX.
Story on how and where you acquired the car?

I believe Geico is just wrong as they were wrong about a new Chevy that I bought in 2006 as well.
As far as my Accord, it was purchased from an elderly man for $3,000. The Car is spotless on the inside as well as the outside. It was most likely garaged. The only thing wrong with it is one light is burned out that lights up the odometer.
