d16y7 won't start -- weak spark
i have a d16y7 that blew it's head gasket. I removed the head, had head resurfaced, pressure tested and a valve job. bought complete gasket kit and re-installed head. after getting the motor all back together, it will not start. I have checked and double checked timing, new plugs, but the FIRE seems weak? could the motor have gotten hot enough when the head gasket blew that it harshed the coil or other internals of the dizzy? the motor wont even backfire or anything, it makes no attempt to start
. it has fuel and weak fire, please help

1996 hatch, 1.6 non v-tec, stock bore, header. Spark is kinda orange on all 4. I know ur not supposed to but i even tried ether (starting Fluid) and got nothing. really is a stock car with new timing belt water pump cv's 180k miles automatic. Car just overheated badly on the highway when the headgasket blew, hauled it home.

ordered new ICM today and new COIL, should be here wednesday. put new rotor button and wires on it today, but no luck. Although, when i first tried to start the civic it almost wanted to start but then nothing. so am thinking its the coil or ICM. i did tes the coil and ICm today and coil numbers looked off, ICM not so much, but gonna replace it anyway.
