Post New Honda Owner

Just brought a new 03 Honda accord ex with leather seats and only 63k miles two weeks ago. This is the first time I brought Honda I love it so far. Very comfortable seats and very easy to drive. I drive about 50 miles to and from work every its grat on gas I can go nearly six days before I need to fill up. I wanted 2 know what everyone though of this generation of accord and what problems I can expect.

You know why you didn't get a response? Because the answer is none. Assuming this used car was solid to begine with, there should be no problems.

The only thing I would recomend is a ATF drain and fill, if it was not done. Does it look pink or brown?

I have had my accord for 6 years and have never had a problem. Just get it serviced when it needs it and you are good to go.

Have the transmission serviced then. $50-$150 now is better than 2 grand later

I bought a 2004 Accord EXL Navi, with 102000 miles on it. I love it. Comfortable ride. I would recommend that you use All Honda filters and fluid when servicing your vehicle. Only thing I found on mine when I did an quick inspection, both axle drive shafts going in to the transmission were leaking. I took it to my local Honda dealer to do a transmission flush and fill. I had them replaced the seals. I would also reccomend using the maintenance schedule in the owners manual. Respectfully.

Why is that? I don't buy this, because I've been running Pure One Oil Filters, Purolator cabin air filters, K&N Air Filter, Royal Purple oil, and I've never had a single problem related to any of them on my 06 that I've had since new.

That said, I do like the Honda transmission fluid, and while mine is a manual I've used Honda fluid when I've done fluid changes.
