Default Brake squeal

07 Accord LX 4 cyl.

A few months back I started hearing the brakes squeal when braking but the sound would come towards the last yard or so. I ended up changing the pads (at 62k) with Wearever Ceramic pads. The new pads dont have any shims as they have some extensions built in and I was told that they did not need any lube. I installed the new pads and the clips that were provided. I still hear the squeal sound, this is heard at the last yard or so of braking.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Ceramic breaks always squeal... that's a trade off you get for having longer lasting breaks.

I was told that the ceramic brakes dont squeal as there is less dust and the wheels dont have that dust all over them.

This happens at the last yard or so. Not sure if I need to apply some paste.
