buddy of mine has 90 hatch...fuse keeps blowing on dash/taillight circuit when he starts it...also even though its blown when he hits brakes the brake/dash/front marker lights all light up! could this be a bad ground or touching wire?

 

probably a bad + wire somewhere touching a ground. when you short a voltage to ground, the fuse blows.

 

try unhooking the dimmer switch as well..i've had one go bad and it kept popping fuses.

 

has ur friend replaced tail lights lately???? sound like a + wire grounding out
