B18C1 Rod Bearings Re-Used
Ok so I purchased a b18c1 gsr block oem rebuilt with acl race bearings. Problem with the block is 3 of the head studs were helicoiled previously since they were stripped due to incorrect head stud install. I purchased a different GSR block that had a spun bearing and was planning on installing the internals from the first block with ACL Bearing (Crank and all) into the block that had the spun internals. I was wondering if I Could reuse the ACL bearings from the first block since I am using the same internals they were attached to???
I am planning on honing the new block and using new piston rings or maybe upgrading to p73 pistons to bump compression also

The main concern would be the condition of the bearings and checking the clearances. I would not suggest just swapping the bearings without at least plastigauging them.
Why hone? If you have the block out do it right and have it bored. Honing is a fast a dirty way of doing a rebuild, but usually just done to get a daily driver by, especially when the vehicle needs to be done quickly and the block is still in the car.
not really. if the walls are true, there's no reason he should have to bore.
