Darton Dry Sleeve H22 std bore 87mm anyone put some power to it? Turbo?
Just curious if anyone has tried to use the Darton Dry Sleeves in 87mm std bore only option you can do and put some power to it, turbo wise with forged pistons? I know it is not smart just curious who has used them...
I made over 850 on those sleeves and my stock sleeve closed deck with mahle pistons makes over 550.
I made about 750-800 on just a thin drop in dry replacement sleeves... eventually a hairline crack occurred after about a season of racing.

John If you want a sleeved block, dont half step. I know of another one available with Darton MIDs in it at 87mm currently, but its had a rod go through the front... But then again, I am known to weld those holes shut on sleeved blocks and beat them even harder after its happened ;O)
Its also a JDM block IIRC

I never heard much of the cheaper Dry sleeves for the H and thought I would see who has tested them out....
Not sure yet how big I want to go... or spend... ideally want to drive on street but step it up little over my 473 hp H23v crx...
