Just curious to see what you guys are running, Im thinking of having a custom manifold made that positions the turbo as close to the drivers side as possible, so i can have plenty of space for a 3" and do a backdoor setup.

 

I have a PFab manifold with the WG dumping to passenger side. Lots of room in there and I am basically running the IC pipe backdoor. My turbo is a Garrett 57 trim and there is just enough room to run a Civic 1/2 radiator with no clearance issues. I can shoot you a pic if you want.

If I were you, I'd do it yourself (which is what I'm doing now. Making a dual side exhaust for my b18 with a 4-2-2 header, and then getting another 4-2 exhaust manifold and making a custom turbo manifold out of it).

It isn't too complicated. If you have a belt sander and a metal sander (i think thats what they're called), and a welder, you can do it. Just takes time.

That last pic is a little too intense. I just need a t3 38mm manifold. Im about to have one made for about $500-600.

Def want enough space to be able to run a 3" downpipe (up pipe), up through the hood, as well as a normal exhaust.

If you have a FB page look up H&H fabrication. They build some bad *** all custom parts. Turbo manifolds/Headers/intake manifolds. They pretty much do it all

eh. its ok, not as ideal as i would like, but def above the drain.

 

Gonna have to clock the turbine housing toward the rad support more, otherwise you will never be able to connect the runners closest to the block. Been there, done that.

Also, mind your dipstick.
