front damper fork question

Default front damper fork question

when you put the front shock in the damper fork.. how does it go on? can you slide it to any position you want?

I believe that the shock has a protrusion on it that lines up with the "split" in the top of the fork. If not, it doesn't matter. You do have to assemble the shock/spring/upper plate so that the threaded studs line up with the holes in the top of the shock tower, and the fork lines up w/ the axle.

well i was just wondering if you can put the shock in lower so the car will sit lower
