Hey Guys,

I just picked up a 93 civic as a project car to work on this Spring/Summer to try and learn more on fixing cars, etc!! It's in pretty bad shape (super rusty, brakes are pretty much out, suspension not the greatest), but it does get me from point A to point B!!! Here's a pic of it:



The brakes are pretty much out so I'm going to replace all four pads and rotors.

Also, this is going to sound like a dumb question, but I believe I'm only getting "brake-age" from either the front or the back. The question is: How can I 'test' that only the front or back brakes are working and how can I tell if I need to get new calipers..

Hey Sam! Take a look at my signature for my FOR SALE thread! I have the front and rear rotors with pads available for your model! Front brake vibration, or steering wheel vibration, shows itself up as steering wheel flutter. If the brakes vibration is felt through the brake pedal or the seat/bodywork of the vehicle, it is almost certain that there is a problem with the rear rotors.

Jack the car up, put it in neutral and have some one hit the brakes as you try to spin each wheel
