h22 swap--95 auto trans into 2000 accord. Will it work?
I'm doing an h22 swap on my 2000 accord. Its an Automatic h22 swap also and everything is going smoothly, all the wiring is done. The swap is a '95 obd1 and the major difference I can see is that on the '95 trans, the transmission mount bolts to the trans and then would slide up into the bracket thats welded onto the frame rail. But on my 2000 model the transmission mount bolts to the frame rail instead and theres a bracket thats bolted to the trans that it slides into. The bracket off the 2000 tansmission won't even remotely line up with with the studs/bolt holes on the '95 transmission. Has anyone succesfully gotten this particular swap to work? Is there a bracket off of any other model Honda that I could use to attach to the '95 trans to get it to bolt up correctly? I've researched tons and tons and I know the swap has been discussed to death, but I can't seem to find any info concerning my trans mount problem. Thanks in advance for any help and advice.
