hey everyone so ive owned 3 ef's and this one was my first b swap. was running for 8 months before my d series alternator finally said no more. so i bought a new intake manifold (old one was obd-2 and had a few issues) anyway's i had made the mistake of using gasket sealant on top of the fel pro gasket and coolant leaked into cylinder #4..... so i replaced the gasket correctly this time and now it starts and runs but has a poor idle and cant rev freely. the coolant isnt leaking into the piston anymore because the levels where the same after it was running for 20+ mins. oil isnt milky either. my spark plug (all four) are a dry charcoal like black. im thinking its bad valve seals or something among-st those lines. please help me? thank you all!

 

It's not your valve seals. Those have nothing to with idle. Try spraying brake cleaner around your intake manifold and listen for a drop in idle
