I bought an engine that was supposedly OBD2 and it's pretty much an OBD2 tran, OBD2 bottom end, then the head is OBD1.. bare with me I'm a noob to this and it's my first swap. I wanted to know if I could use this cable to be able to use my OBD2 engine harness from my hatch to connect to the fuel injectors that are OBD1. I'd check the fuel injector plugs if I could right now but I'm ****ing pissed off at the bs that's happened so far and it's it's 20 miles at my buddies garage so I wanted to ask here. By what I've been seeing they look like they would fit but I wanted someones input about it that knows about this stuff better than myself.

obd1 and 2 injectors all the same so whatever fits. what about dist.?

 

It's a B18B1 and I got an OBD2 dist and OBD1.. but right now I put the 2 on it. I heard from someone on another forum that he's been using a D16Z6's injectors on his B20 so I'm about to head to the place now and try something out and if it doesn't work, they gave me this link "http://www.rywire.com/catalog/obd2-harness-to-obd1-injector-adapters-p-61.html" to get an adapter to make the harness plug into the injectors. I wish I hadn't bought the engine from someone hell bent on screwing others over, I just learned from one of his good friends that's rolling with us now that the engine I bought was his shitty old turbo one that is smoking and grinding 2-3rd gear so hopefully today it'll be done without any complications or THAT being true.
