Default ...Need Help With Tires for These Rims...

lookin for some tires for a set of Spun TA wheels (15x7 +40). not sure what size tires, but i like the ones in the pics posted. can anyone help? thanks!

The car the wheels are on dictates the tire size more so then the wheels that are on it. What kind of car are these going on? As for the lip, I'd say just use some masking tape and tape off the lip, and then proceed with painting. This is more a question for the Paint & Body forum.

Well, the Gabs you have posted above are 16x8" wheels. And the tires are 215/50/16's, if memory serves me right. Talk to Harlowe, as its his car, or fventura03 because those are his wheels.

i dont want low-profile, but i dont want super meaty either... what would you recommend? idk if talkin to the owner of the gabs would help since theyre not the same size as the rims i have...

The car dictates the tire size more so then the wheels, so you'll want to look at a tire size calculator to help you determine exactly what size tire you should be running.

Tire sizes that will fit those wheels and the car properly:
195/60/15
205/60/15
225/50/15 (*almost too small of an overall diameter for the car)
