Access Window Visors JDM EF9 vs USDM ED7
So I got bored and decided to add some tech to this bored for those who care. This is to help people identify which window visors they find since no other data exists anywhere on the web.
THERE ARE PHYSICAL DIFFERENCES between the two so hopefully this will help people to find and ID the Rare SH0 90-91 USDM visors

For those who are unfamiliar with the JDM EF9 window Visor problem with USDM (USA) 90-91 civic hb's, let's start there. The JDM vindow visors are almost a half inch too long to fit the 90-91 hb's. Same goes for the 89-91 CRX Si or 90-91 CRX DX/HF. This is due to the seat belts in the doors.
Even though the 4th generation Civic is commonly referred to as 88-91 (87-91 in some countries) there is actually a split year usually 88-89 and 90-91. For most countries the (Face Lift) version mainly consisted of some minor tweaks to the styling leaving the rest of the chassis untouched. The United States however added upgraded (debatable) safety belts. The new 90-91 USDM seat belts were door mounted unlike the previous pillar mounted belts found in the 88-89 models. This caused for different doors, glass, and door panels. The door post on the USA doors is wider to incorporate the door mounted seat belts. This in turn led to a shorter door glass hence the JDM window visors and door glass not fitting 90-91.
Almost all other countries (including Canada) kept the 88' style pillar mounted belts. That means the JDM bronze glass and window visors will work in almost every country except the USA 90-91.
JDM Window visors SH3 fit 88-89 USDM cars only, this make the USDM 90-91 (SH0) visors extremely rare and highly desired. Now for some pictures.
Here is a BNIB set of USDM SH0 Window visors

Right off the bat you can see that the USDM visors have more clips on top than the JDM EF ones (JDM=4 clips, USDM=6 clips) The JDM visor is on bottom

Also the corner of the USDM visor is rounded whereas the JDM one is pointed

Physically the JDM visor is stiffer and heavier due to a lip on the underside edge. The USDM one is obviously lighter but feels flexible almost flimsy in comparison
USDM w/o lip

JDM with lip

Please also note that all Civic hb and sedan visors say "CIVIC" on them and the CRX and Wagon visors say "HONDA"
