How can i safely loosen the trans drain plug without stripping the bolt head? Multiple applications of liquid wench, heating wirh a propane torch or tapping with a hammer come to mind, haven't used the latter two. I only have jack stands so leverage is limited.

 

Put a 3/8" extension in it and hit it with a hammer. Put some anti-seize on the threads before you put it back in.
