'97 Acura CL 3.0 - Stalls sometimes when raining
Plugs and wires about a month old. Runs great when dry out. Only sometimes stalls when raining. Anything under car that could be shorting out?
So no check engine lights? I assume it dies when you let off the gas or just all of a sudden? Start checking the wire harnesses on the engine, possibly see if the problem occurs when you spray the engine bay with water? It is going to be a tough one. What about distributor cap and rotor? or igniter?
Thanks.... I'll check that stuff. Correct no check engine light. Dist cap & rotor last changed ??? I've owned it 3 yrs and I know I never changed them.
I wouldnt go all out and hose down the engine while it was running but getting some water in the area to simulate moisture might help you find the source of your trouble.

just get a spray bottle full of water and start misting the engine bay with it. then look for any arching. you might have to mist it a good bit.
I tried spraying (mist) around the distributor cap and basically all over the engine top. Could not get it to stall. I'll next try putting a hose to the bottom of the car.
