1999 Civic DX A/C swap with 96 A/C
I have a 99 Civic DX hatch with no A/C. A buddy of mine has a 96 civic EX and is willing to give me all the parts from his A/C system, I realize that I will probably the parts from under the dash from my year, because the units are different. But Im curious if all the stuff from under the hood will work with a 99-00 ac unit?

As long as you still have the AC head unit/controls on the dash ALL the AC components from a 99 will bolt right into any 96-00 civic, except B series compressors are different.

Ill be pulling the stuff from in the dash and the a/c button from a 99 civic. So, just to clarify, all the lines and other parts from under the hood will work? Someone also said that I will have to cut the lines to get them out, I doubt this is true just wanted to be sure.
