Dizzy problem with B18C1 in 88 EF please help!
About the Car:
I have a 88 EF that I am in the process of swapping. Right now the motor is in and mostly everything is connected. The 88 Civic is a converted OBD1 with Vtec and all wired into it. This car previously had a mini-me in the car that was running. The car cranks but I have no possible way of getting spark!
About the Motor:
The GSR motor came out of a EF that had all obd2 components like dizzy, alternator, injectors, etc. HOWEVER the problem now is that I am left with an OBD2 8pin dizzy that wont connect to the OBD1 plugs. The ECU that I will be running is a chipped OBD1 p28.
Because the previous setup was obd2 I decided to keep the OBD2 injectors, so I spliced the OBD1 converted harness and added the OBD2 injectors as well.
My questions:
-What is needed to make my car start?
-Is it just the OBD1 dizzy that will make my car start?
Sorry guys I hope everything is clear. I have lost my motivation on this thing and need some help. If there are any other things that are unclear or need more information on please let me know! i just want the car to be running at the moment, I will getting a new harness down the road when money permits.
Thank you in advance for your help!

You can use the OBD2 distributor.
Just convert the connector or spend the money for an OBD2 to OBD1 distributor jumper.
The internals are 100% compatible with OBD1 electronics.
You may want to troubleshoot the current distributor to nail your problem down before throwing parts at it.

I spoke to rywire about using the dizzy adapter however the 8 pin dizzy is just for the 96-00 civic ex, the guy from rywire will not sell me something that may not work for me he says I don't want to gamble.
Actually, there are 9 wires vs 8 wires.
The terminal on the ECM exists and is left empty on the 8 pin.
anyway - in case you want to think about it more for any reason.
