Icon6 Cold Wheather

New b here...

for the past year and a half i have been trying to figure out what is wrong with my car. the scenario is that every time that i park my car for about two days and it rains the next time that I use it, it turns on fine and it will run a few miles, but as soon as i come to stop it turns off and it takes me a while to get it to turn back up again. at this point no one has been able to diagnose it. Does anybody have any suggestions as to why this happens or what could it be causing it??

Does it only happen when it rains or any time the car is parked for two days?

Have you checked the timing? Where are you getting the distributors? Did you change the plugs and wires too? Filters?
And you made up a word...it's 'weather.' The other word is 'whether' and does not apply here.

Thanks for checking my grammar.... it turns out that the distributor is the one causing the problems, in addition spark number 3 was not properly tightened which was also giving me a backfire at times. As for the distributor i'm looking at different sites to find the best fit for the car and my budget...
Thanks for all the advise.
