Default Finally back w/ my new Toy!

Well, I have to say these past 48 hours will be told as a funny story 20 years from now. To make a long story short, I found a 2000 F4 in Arkansas (im from gainesville, fl) and I feel in love w/ it, Its nothing special really, except its been painted black (to match the original owners truck) as well as the frame has been polished. Oh yeah its got a Titanium Vance and Hines pipe..... Anyways, I left Gainesville at 330 am yesterday morning (wednesday morning) Left tallahassee with my friends truck at 630, drove deep into Alabama, took a 2 hour nap, and made the rest of the 13 hour trip (mapquest said it would take me 18 hours, ha yeah right) .....it was 855 miles to Fayetteview arkansas from Tallahassee, and another 130 from tallahassee from Gainesville,

Lets just say, it was probably the best road trip anyone could ever have...

The original owner traded the bike for a SUV, so naturally I was worried about the condition of the bike since it was being sold by a Used Car Dealer. However, If only every car salesmen was as nice as this guy, Id buy a used car every day. Not only was he truthful about everything about the bike, He also took me out to dinner, and paid for my Hotel room. I was going to sleep in my buddys truck, but he insisted on paying, heh i wouldnt complain, after 855 miles , i was dead tired...

Anyways, Here she is, 1800 miles and it was worth (especially for the price i paid).....however, these pictures look like ***, because the bike looks like *** right now, it rained for 7 hours straight on the way home today. Im gonna clean her up tomorrow, and probably take more pics.

P.S. Sorry for the long post, Im kinda 7/8th asleep

Yeah, originally my buddy (the one who actually owns the truck) was suppose to go, then he canceled and made the excuse that he needs to go to class, heh. but he said i can use his truck if i can find someone else to go, well no one else was crazy enough to go by themselves, so i jumped in that nissan truck and hit the road, heh, i feel kinda bad cuz its a brand new truck...only like 6,000 miles....oh well, im riding up to Jax to go to the shop i work at when im home, gonna go ahead and probably get a new front tire....the back one has like 2 miles on it, so i figured get both done at the same time....probably change the oil.....Havent done much servicing on a Honda bike, heh it could probably use a valve adjustment too, i doubt its ever had one w/ like 7100 miles on the bike..... Anyone have a good site to show how to do it on a bike?

heh, yeah, i spent a lot of time riding a TL1000R, very fun bikes......i loved the low end torque, the front end came up very easy on it, its a bit harder getting this bike up without using the clutch

I found some Chrome look vinyl honda stickers, I think they will look good with the polished frame, what do you guys think?

here is the link to them:

Nice paint never deserves stickers. Only shitty paint deserves the coverup. Try polishing the wheels/swingarm/frame. Very slick on a black bike. Also a cheap do it yourself job.
