Hey guys,

Im sure this "may have been covered clearly" various times before however i couldnt quite find the answer or opinion i was looking for.

This is after few hours searching the net, forums and what have you.

So be gentle

Im in two minds regarding a spacer purchase.

My current setup is:
Konig Heliums 15x6.5 +40, 195/50r15 tyres.

what I want to do is either get 15mm spacers or 20mm spacers with extended studs and nuts of course.
With replacement tyres in near future preferably 205/50r15

I measured the distance from tyre to edge wheel arch and got est. of 20mm give or take.

And i want to fill the guard so. Tyre lining or slighty 0.5mm or less wider than the fender/ wheel arch line.

So summarising 15x6.5 +40 with either 15mm or 20mm spacer with 205/50r15 tyres.

which setup do guys think would be best to achieve this? If someone had/has
a similar setup can you post pics with your reply?

Mind you I wont be slamming the car ( DC2 98' model, vtir (GSR in the states) )
looking for 0.5-1 finger gap ( using GC/Koni yellow)

I would recommend the 15mm spacers, as they will fit better with the 205's.

 

Ive decided to get 15mms spacers, with extended studs and extended nuts.
